Admissions Re-Enrollment of Current Students Now Open!
The re-enrollment period for current students is
Thursday, November 1st, through Friday, December 14th. Re-enrollment is being handled entirely ONLINE this year - the form is available on our website here, and payments can be submitted by check or via the website here. The only way to guarantee your child a seat in next year's class is to have all of the enrollment information - AND THE $100 ADMISSION FEE - turned in to the office by Friday, December 14th.
Please remember, incoming siblings who are new to the school MUST have qualifying test scores on file with MPA in order for their application to be considered complete. Please contact Nancy.Colby@MenloParkAcademy.com in the admissions office to learn more about applications for siblings of current students.
Open House for Prospective Students & Families
Wednesday, November 14, from 6-8pm at MPA
Volunteers will be leading tours of the building, administrators will introduce the school and curriculum, and teachers will be here to answer parents' questions about the school.
Prospective students and their parents are welcome to come take a look around.
Stay tuned for more information on how you can help make this event a success - and in the meantime, let your interested friends know about the event. |
Science Fair & Invention Convention
This year MPA will be expanding it's project based science fair to include invention convention. Grades k-3 will focus on the traditional science fair concept while 4th grade will be introduced to invention convention. Grades 5-8 will have the option to select whether they would like to participate in science fair or invention convention. Both options are rigorous, research based activities of equal value but provide students varying ways to apply science topics. More information will be coming home soon with students. |
Election Day and Parking
Next week the presedential election will be held. Here at Menlo we will hold an end of day Presidential assembly on Monday. On Tuesday, students will participate in a mock election. We encourage you to talk with your children about the presedential election before they vote on Tuesday. This is a teachable moment with lifelong impact.
PLEASE be aware that St. Mel's church is a voting location. If you are volunteering or visiting the school on election day, please use street parking.
