The PTO will be running this year's Field Day at . Kids will be taking buses from school to the park in the morning and returning to school before dismissal - it's like a field trip for the whole school! MPA is even providing lunch for the kids, so that's one less brown bag you need to pack this year. It's sure to be a great day of sun, fun, and healthy competition.
Running events for more than 200 kids takes a lot of planning and a lot of volunteer manpower - but it's also a LOT of fun! Volunteers are still needed to help make this a fun - and safe - day for the kids. If you can volunteer the day of the event, or help with planning or gathering materials beforehand, please contact Melissa Schill at as soon as possible.
(Just a reminder - all students must have a 2011 MPA field day shirt for this event so they can be assigned to the proper team. Please contact the school immediately if you have not ordered your student's shirt yet!)
